Guests were welcomed by Travis Lunn, President & COO of Mandalay Bay and Luxor, who congratulated Mann and her team on their incredible accomplishment. The cast of FANTASY and the team at Anita Mann Productions were presented with the Key to the Las Vegas Strip by the Clark County Commission, citing not only the show’s incredible milestone but also Mann and the show’s contributions to the city’s entertainment landscape as well as their service to the Las Vegas community.
Mann thanked her team and the cast, including past performers, many of whom were in attendance, for their dedication and commitment to their craft and the show. Mann also announced FANTASY’s charitable partner for 2025 will be ALS of Nevada, represented by Executive Director Dawn Newberg. The organization will receive a portion of each 25th Anniversary Commemorative Book sold, which was also unveiled and is available for sale, priced at $25 in honor of the milestone.
To celebrate its silver anniversary, FANTASY enlisted well-known celebrity choreographers to debut a variety of fresh, sexy numbers. The creative genius who co-directed 2024 Victoria Secret Fashion Show and choreographed Taylor Swift’s “Eras Tour,” Mandy Moore, choreographed a new opening number to a mix of “A Little Party Never Killed Nobody” by Fergie and “Dance The Night Away” by Dua Lipa as well as the show’s finale, a remix of “Last Dance.”
Former cast member, Yesi Burgess, who now choreographs shows throughout The Strip, returned to choreograph two new numbers – a fiery salsa to “Suavemente” and new country number to “Here for the Party.” District 78, famous for innovative musical interpretations on shows like “So You Think You Can Dance,” “Dancing with the Stars,” “The Masked Singer,” and “America’s Best Dance Crew,” helped bring the new numbers to life with new music cuts added to the show.
Fan- favorite routines “Nasty Girls” and “Roxanne,” both choreographed by Cris Judd, continue to anchor the sultry production. A re-imagined aerial silk number, set to “Feeling Good,” bewitched audiences, while “Black Velvet,” a seductive human cat’s cradle choreographed by Tiger Martina made a revamped return for the anniversary. The infectious “Hips Don’t Lie,” also made its return to the FANTASY stage, performed by the show’s powerhouse vocalist and host Lorena Peril. The reimagined version now features Peril interacting with a video of Brazilian recording artist and singer Thiago Gusi, who recreates Wyclef Jean’s role on the track. Moore, Burgess, Martina, District 78 and Gusi also joined Mann and the FANTASY cast for the red carpet and show.
Mann and FANTASY were also joined by Jeff Thacker, Emmy Award-winning producer of “So You Think You Can Dance;” Glorya Kaufman, founder of the USC Glorya Kaufman School of Dance; Kenny Ortega, Emmy Award-winning choreographer and director; Tony Award-winner BK Fulton; Owen Joyner, MTV Movie + TV Award-winning actor for “Julie and the Phantoms” and star of the upcoming Final Destination: Bloodlines film; George Kosturos, award-winning actor at Boston, Napa Valley and Newport Beach Film Festivals.
